Muzik for iPhone and iPod touch Turns Your iPod App To Look Like Windows Phone 7’s Zune App

Own an iPhone or iPod touch but always liked the look of Windows Phone 7’s Zune music interface? Now you can have the best of both worlds, thanks to a new app from Dr. Wilson Gaming, called Muzik.

Working just like the built-in iPod app, Muzik allows the playback of music and video, all with the fancy interface WP7 users know and love. Available on the Apple App Store for just $0.99, Muzik’s faithful recreation of Zune is striking, and it makes a welcome change to the somewhat dull iPod app we’ve been using for the past few years. There’s also the option to theme the app should that be your particular bag. It seems all isn’t well with the theme implementation with the App Store description making mention of the need to install some files manually and points users to the developer’s forum. Not entirely user-friendly.

The best feature of Muzik perhaps is the ability to close it and get back to good ol’ iOS – this way you get all the swish interface of Windows Phone 7 without, well, having to use Windows Phone 7.

That’s a Win-Win in our book!
