Download The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection Absolutely Free And Legally, Here’s How!

Here, we regularly come across free stuff, and when we find a deal that’s worth your time downloading, we feel compelled to share it with you. Today, it has come to our attention that The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection can be had for free, and below, you can check the specifics of this week-long promotion.

As with most freebies, there are one or two limitations. First of all, The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection can only be downloaded via EA’s very own Origin service. Additionally, the promo will only last for a week, with the special code expiring after July 31st.

Having said said that, this is a great deal that any respectable Sims fan will not want to miss. Forgetting the fact that The Sims 2 is over a decade old and EA recently ceased support for this landmark title, this remains a great little deal, and if you wish to pick up this bundle via Origin, the steps are actually very simple.

First and foremost, you’ll need to head over to the Origin front-end, and hit the Games tab. Then, select ‘Redeem Product Code’ and enter “I-LOVE-THE-SIMS” without the quotation marks.

As aforementioned, this deal doesn’t run indefinitely, and so if you’re big on The Sims 2 and wish to grab the Ultimate Collection at the magic zero-dollar price tag, then be sure to check it out via Origin.

Even though we’re now firmly focused on the release of The Sims 4, which was announced by EA last year, long-standing fans of the franchise still enjoy revisiting these older titles, and with some having felt that The Sims 3 lost its way a little, there’s a good chance that Sims 2 players will be delighted by this latest freebie.

For those interested, the Windows / PC edition of The Sims 4 is set for release on September 2nd, and although a Mac version is most definitely in the pipeline, no official date has yet been offered by EA.

Given how late in the day titles tend to hit Apple’s OS X-powered machines, there’s a good chance that the Mac variant won’t hit shelves this side of the new year, but at any rate, we’ll keep you posted on any developments, so stay tuned.
