Those familiar with Mac OS X are probably aware of the platform's major flaw when it comes to media playback: there's no official Blu-ray support. Despite many requests for it to be supported, Steve Jobs has long dismissed it as a "bag of hurt", and therefore no Mac ships with Blu-ray drives or Blu-ray playback software. Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player will change all that: introducing the first Blu-ray player for Mac OS X!
Few would argue that one of the Mac OS X's major user-facing elements is the Dock. Providing both a home for your most used applications as well as doubling as a way of seeing just which apps are running, the Dock is a bit like Windows' Start Menu on steroids.
While browsing iTunes this afternoon, folks at SlideToMac have discovered a blank page in iTunes that resembled the one from Mac App Store app when it was launched back in January this year.
Apple has just released the final version of Mac OS X 10.6.6 Snow Leopard. It is a recommended update and it implements hundreds of fixes since the last few updates, 10.6.5 (November 2010), 10.6.4 (June 2010), 10.6.3 (March 2010) and 10.6.2 (November 2009).
