The Apple iWatch has been rumored year-in, year-out, but with rumors suggesting that the Cupertino's inaugural smartwatch effort has its own dedicated development team echoing the sentiments of analysts that the device will finally manifest in 2014, we're very much hoping that the announcement of the elusive gadget is imminent. Hitherto, there's been a distinct lack of hard evidence with regards to the device, with only tidbits of speculation allied to numerous concepts, but today's render of a curved iWatch design is one of the better ones we've stumbled across so far.

Apple Reportedly Gearing Up For A Huge Q3 2014 Product Rollout

Paul Morris·April 10, 2014
There's been plenty of speculation recently surrounding Apple's product plans for the remainder of the year. Conjecture and Internet based chit-chat continues to grow regarding what may or may not be included in iOS 8. Most of which will be either confirmed or denied when we get our first glimpse of the firmware in June at WWDC 2014. There's also mounting speculation about the fruit company's plans for the next-generation iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 6, with most focus being specifically placed on the device's display dimensions. Ming-Chi Kuo, of KGI Securities fame, has added fuel to that fire and put the cat amongst the pigeons by releasing a product timeline, indicating that Q3 could be a huge period for Apple.

Ben Reid·April 9, 2014
It's rather difficult to get too excited about a product that is spoken about but never seen, and while we've heard report after report pertaining to the so-called Apple iWatch, there's been little evidence to corroborate the claims. Nevertheless, new bits of information are suggesting that the device will arrive around August-September time, with an abundance of sensors and fitness-centric features to help Apple tap into the $3 trillion healthcare market. Full details of the latest revelations can be found after the break!

Ben Reid·March 8, 2014
We've mulled other what seems like thousands of concepts pertaining to the so-called Apple iWatch, and even though designers and fans of the idea have been tripping over themselves to put a face to the name, we're still none the wiser as to what the fruit company has in its plans. Today, designer Gábor Balogh has come through with a rather interesting take on the iWatch, which sticks with the recognized form factor of a normal wristwatch while cramming in all of the digital niceties that appease us tech fans. Check it out after the break!

New Apple iWatch Concept Features A Galaxy Fit Like Curved Display [Images]

Ben Reid·March 5, 2014
Antonio De Rosa, leader of ADR Studios, frequently dazzles us with some great Apple-centered concepts, and today, has delivered another neat design based on the company's supposed wearable tech endeavors. The iWatch, as it is unofficially known, looks set to finally make an appearance at market in 2014 after years of speculation, and De Rosa has given us yet another visual representation of what it might look like when it does finally manifest. The 'iMe,' as he has called it, features a strap not too dissimilar to that of the Nike+ FuelBand, and with a slick, curved display, much like the Gear Fit, looks rather different to the currently-available smartwatches from the likes of Pebble, Samsung and Sony. Check it out after the break!

While Apple is still very much trying to stabilize iOS 7 into a platform on which it can build, attention is already turning towards what could be part of the iOS 8 experience that is due to land later this year. With the iOS 7 redesign being somewhat on the radical side, all eyes are one where Apple takes its mobile operating system during the next few months.

This Awesome iWatch Concept Takes Heavy Inspiration From Nike+ FuelBand [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·January 22, 2014
Nike's FuelBand may be seen by some as a bit of a high-priced gimmick, but despite the naysayers, it continues to sell in fairly strong numbers. As well as building a growing number of admirers, FuelBand now arrives in a plethora of different colors and versions in the form of FuelBand SE, and is as stylish as it is practical. With this in mind, UI design guru Todd Hamilton has offered his take on the enigmatic Apple iWatch by basing it heavily upon close buddy Nike's likeable gizmo, and the result is truly something to behold.

This iWatch Concept Is Based On iPhone 5s And 5c Design [Photos]

Ben Reid·January 9, 2014
Although we've not heard or seen a great deal of tangible evidence to suggest that an Apple iWatch is even in existence, those in favor of the idea have continued to maintain that the Cupertino Company will be joining the likes of Pebble, Samsung and Sony in due course by releasing its own smartwatch. While it's somewhat difficult to get excited about something that mightn't ever see the light of the day, we can always rely on the designers to conjure up some interesting visuals, and resident concept-maker Martin Hajek has come through with an intriguing two-pronged iWatch[s] and iWatch[c] concept, akin to the higher-end iPhone 5s and it's cheaper, polycarbonate accomplice.

Ben Reid·December 14, 2013
We've been hearing a great deal about Apple's supposed smartwatch endeavors, with reports earlier on in the year suggesting that up to 100 members of staff had been assigned as a dedicated team tasked with building the foundations of the project. Some months on, and we're now hearing that the device, naturally suspected to be called the iWatch, will be making its way to the market later on next year, and will be the first piece of Apple hardware - unless another product arrives between now and then - to feature wireless charging.
