After learning about iPhone OS 4 jailbreak news earlier today, some iPhone devs/hackers have now apparently managed to enable multitasking on the older iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G, both of which were limited by Apple due to lower amount of RAM on these devices. This is what a recent tweet from an iPhone dev said.
According to a recent job posting, the Cupertino based company is looking for a engineer to lead a group of software engineers in order to bring iPhone OS to new devices and platforms. The job description is as follows.

The said device, which is likely to be announced on January 27th will feature a very fast ARM processor, and will run on top of iPhone kernel.
