This summer has emerged as a pivotal time for e-reading apps. Google Reader is going defunct, AOL Reader has just been rolled out as a Web service, and rumor has it that Facebook is also set to join the party with its own magazine service à la Flipboard. Today, as promised, Digg has added reader features to its iOS app, which notably, allows users to import straight from Google Reader.
Founder of Digg, Kevin Rose, has jumped on to the rumor mill surrounding the next-generation iPad. A source close to him who has “good authority” claims that the iPad 2 will be announced in next 3 to 4 weeks, possibly on February 1st, and that it will feature higher DPI display and front/back cameras.
So the Digg v4 was launched yesterday. A monster full of bugs as if no testing was done before it was made available to public on a busy day at a busy hour. Bugs weren't the only thing which made me think that way, everything about new digg seems like it was never tested.
