iTunes App Store, which was launched back in 2008 with the introduction of iPhone 3G and iPhone software 2.0 (now iOS) has just passed a quarter million apps mark this Friday, with more than 50,000 developers working on them. As of the time of writing this article, the tally stands at 252,227 apps to date. This includes apps for all iOS based devices like iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Ever fancied having two SIMs in your iPhone 4, which is of course either factory unlocked or hacked to run any carrier SIM you like? Well apparently, USBFever has come up with a solution which could be very useful if you like hopping around two networks. The Dual SIM Card Adaptor allows you to hook two SIM cards with the help of a clip, which goes around the iPhone 4 and is held tightly together with a transparent back cover case which it ships with.
We have already seen many different pictures of iPod touch 4 surfaced in the last month or so, and rumors are floating around that the new iPod touch will get a front-facing camera for FaceTime video calls, a rear camera for HD video recording, along with a Retina Display. But what we’re all really interested in knowing is what will the new iPod touch look like, as in the design. A source close to iLounge claims that the new iPod touch won’t have a all flat glass back like the iPhone 4, rather it will be much like the new MacBook Pros.
Earlier today, an Apple Store was robbed in San Diego, California by two guys dressed up in jeans and hoodies. They smashed into the store late at night and took away a dozen iPhones which were on display. Since there wasn’t anyone around at that time, no one was injured.

Sony has always been a avid supporter of using top of the line physical storage media for their devices, for instance the PlayStation 2 was the first console with DVD drive, the killer feature of PlayStation 3 has always been the Blu-ray drive and the first-gen PlayStation Portable brought the new UMD media format. But recently, Sony killed UMD format with the PSP-Go in favor of distributing media over their online PlayStation Store. This obviously raised a lot of questions whether Sony will take PSP-Go like route for the next-gen PlayStation 4. Well apparently, this might not be the case after all.
The iPhone Dev-Team has just posted an update on their official blog, giving warning to all those with newer devices like iPhone 4, iPad (on iOS 3.2.2), iPhone 3GS (New bootrom) and iPod touch 3G / 2G (MC-Model) to not update to iOS 4.0.2 as they wont be wasting another exploit for this minor firmware update. Instead, the focus will now be on finding a new exploit which could be used on the next major firmware update i.e. iOS 4.1. I’ll say that is a good move on their part given that final version of iOS 4.1 could be out as early as next week.
