Apple is expected to announce iOS 27 at its WWDC event next month, and a new report claims it will include an Apple Intelligence feature that brings Siri to the Camera app.
According to a new Bloomberg report by Mark Gurman, the iOS 27 camera app will include a new Siri mode that will take advantage of existing features like video and photo capture, as well as the Portrait and Panorama modes.

Notably, the new feature is expected to integrate with Visual Intelligence, allowing users to ask Siri for information on what the camera can see. Visual Intelligence already allows users to point their iPhone at a plant, for example, and get information on it.
With iOS 27, that feature is expected to be expanded to include nutrition labels on food. MacRumors reports that it has also found mention of support for using Visual Intelligence to scan contact details and add physical cards and tickets to the Wallet app.
Apple is expected to announce iOS 27 at its WWDC 2026 event, which has been confirmed to begin on June 8. The company is also set to unveil new software for the iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro alongside iOS 27.
While the new software updates will be announced on June 8, they won’t be made available to the public until this fall after months of beta testing.
