One of Cydia’s most impressive and comprehensive power management systems for jailbroken devices has just been updated with support for iOS 8 / 8.1.
The unexpected, but extremely welcome, release of the Pangu8 untether a number of weeks ago has sent developers into a wild panic as efforts increase in an attempt to upgrade tweaks, packages and extensions to offer compatibility with Apple’s latest version of iOS. With each passing day a furiously repetitive refresh of Cydia’s repositories introduces a whole host of newly upgraded tools, with BattSaver for iOS 7 & 8 being one of the latest commercial packages to benefit from an iOS 8 / 8.1 upgrade.

It may come with a $3.99 price-tag for new buyers, but you really can’t put a price on prolonged power and up-time.
BattSaver for iOS 7 & 8 is available as a $3.99 download from the BigBoss repository. This particular tweak requires a jailbroken iPhone or iPad running a liberated version of iOS 7 or 8.
