Apple has officially pushed out a slew of software updates into the public domain. With immediate effect, all owners of compatible Mac, Apple Watch, HomePod and Apple TV hardware can download macOS 10.14.4, watchOS 5.2, HomePod firmware 12.2 and tvOS 12.2.
It seems like Apple has been testing these firmware versions for an elongated time, so let’s not waste any additional time and dive right in and take a look at each of the releases one-by-one.
macOS 10.14.4: Just like iOS 12.2, macOS 10.14.4 brings Apple News to Canadian Mac users for the first time. And, once again, like iOS 12.2, Apple News in Canada will be offered with either English or French translations, or a combination thereof. This latest edition of macOS also comes with Safari AutoFill using Touch ID, Apple News+, and automatic detection of Dark Mode via Safari when you visit websites. This update also includes the typical bug fixes and improvements that we all expect.
watchOS 5.2: For those who love the exquisite things in life, watchOS 5.2 immediately unveils some new stunning Hermes watch faces. There are pink, blue, and a gradient style options to choose from to take the visuals of Apple Watch to the next level. Apple has also implemented changes to the ECG setup process to ensure that location is a pivotal part of that to ascertain immediately if this functionality is available. Under the hood, watchOS 5.2 contains the usual improvements and stability enhancements that we expect to see.
tvOS 12.2: tvOS 12.2 works extremely well with iOS 12.2 on iPhone or iPad. By utilizing one of those devices with iOS 12.2 installed, Apple TVs running tvOS 12.2 can play content which has been requested via Siri on an iOS 12.2-powered device. This works for music, TV shows, and movies. This is largely the main improvement of tvOS 12.2 aside from the usual fixes and improvements.

iOS 12.2 includes support for joining most enterprise or university campus 802.1x networks that do not require unique credentials to join.
All of the above updates are available right now for public consumption and installation. In short, Apple has made them available to everyone with compatible hardware with immediate effect.
