Amazon Announces First Digital Day Sales Event, Here Are The Details

Amazon is trying to create a bit of a post-holiday shopping rush all of its own by announcing what it is calling ‘Digital Day’, a 24 hour sale during which the company will be discounting products which are available digitally, as in codes that you can immediately redeem.

If you were on the lookout for a new toaster then you’re out of luck, but that new album you’ve been wanting? There’s a chance it might be available for less come December 30th.

Amazon is known for doing deals for a set period of time, and it’s not just Black Friday and Cyber Monday which have reaped the benefits of an Amazon-backed sale. The company has made a bit of a thing of its Prime Day sale during which Amazon Prime customers can take advantage of deep discounts on all manner of products across the whole Amazon range.

It’s quite a sight to behold, and arguably eclipses the Black Friday event it was no doubt based on. This December 30th’s Digital Day is a whole different ball game though, and with only digital products on offer, it is clearly aimed at those who received new smartphones and tablets this holiday season.

On offer will be a range of products and services, ranging from the ever popular Plex Pass subscription at a 50% discount to a number of top music albums which will be available for just $5. Speaking of music, Amazon will also be using the event to push its subscription service, Amazon Music Unlimited which will benefit from a $10 discount. Other apps, movies and services will be available as part of the sale, and there is sure to be something for everyone be they young or old, boy or girl.

Be sure to check out the company’s website and mobile apps come December 30th to make sure you don’t miss out. Also make sure you check us here at RP on 30th as we will have a curated list of the best Digital Day deals right here. Stay tuned.
