Hot on the heels of the September event that saw Apple announce the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo, the company is set to hold another event on October 13.
That’s according to a report by Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman, who believes that the event is on the horizon, with new smart home products set to be unveiled.
Gurman has been hinting at new HomePods and other devices for a while, and they finally look set to be announced.
Apple is planning to hold an event on Oct. 13 to unveil its long-awaited smart home hub with a screen, the new HomePod mini and an updated Apple TV. All three devices will have Siri AI at the core.
Previous reports have suggested that a new HomePod mini in refreshed colors and with Apple Intelligence is set to be announced. A new Apple TV 4K device, again with Apple Intelligence support, has also been heavily rumored.
Finally, there have been claims of the fabled Apple smart hub device also being shown off for the first time. This device would be similar to a HomePod with a display attached, according to previous reports.
However, Apple has yet to confirm any of this, but with the rumored event little more than a week away, it’s possible we will hear something soon. Alternatively, Apple may choose to announce the new products via press release — if so, there will be little warning before they drop on the big day.
