New And Upgraded Apple TV 4K To Feature A Revamped Siri Remote

Apple has long been tipped to have a new Apple TV 4K in the works, and a new report claims that it will bring with it a refreshed Siri remote as part of the update.

According to a MacRumors report citing code found in the recent macOS 26.7 software beta, Apple intends to bring an updated Siri Remote to market alongside its revamped Apple TV device. This backs up previous rumors to that effect.

While this news makes plenty of sense, it’s still unclear what the new Siri Remote will offer or how it will change in terms of industrial design when compared to the current model.

Apple hasn’t updated the Apple TV 4K in some time, so a new model is very much welcome. It’s expected that it could be announced within the coming weeks, although an unveiling as late as October is also a distinct possibility.

The next few weeks are set to be a busy period for Apple regardless. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to be unveiled in September, as is the iPhone Ultra.

The iPhone Ultra is set to be Apple’s first foldable iPhone and is set to usher in the biggest change to Apple’s smartphone lineup in years.

September is also set to see the release of iOS 27 and the rest of Apple’s big 2026 software updates, too.
