You can now download the new wallpapers from the first iOS 27 beta and macOS 27 beta for any iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Here are all the details.
Apple used its WWDC 2026 opening keynote to announce a ton of new software for its various platforms, including the iPhone and iPad. And as has become the norm, iOS 27 and macOS 27 both include all-new wallpapers.
They’re available to everyone who installs the new betas on their devices, but you don’t have to go that route. You can download the new wallpapers without having to resort to installing beta software.
While new beta releases are exciting, they’re often filled with bugs and other issues. That’s especially the case for early iOS and macOS betas, so we absolutely recommend giving them a miss. Especially if all you want is to use those new wallpapers.
You can now download all of the new wallpapers available in iOS 27 from here, and macOS 27 Golden Gate from here, for your own devices, no matter which software they’re running. We’ll also keep our eyes peeled for any more wallpapers that get added to the mix during the beta process, too.
Apple is expected to make iOS 27 and macOS 27 available for public download this fall, likely in September. That month is also set to see the unveiling of the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Fold/Ultra.
