Apple Vision Pro Steam Link App Will Soon Bring PC Gaming To The Headset

The Apple Vision Pro will soon have a new Steam Link app that will allow gamers to stream titles from their PC.

The announcement came from Valve itself, saying that the new Steam Link app will be available for all of the existing platforms, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.

But there will be a new Apple Vision Pro addition, giving headset owners a new way to play their PC games.

Valve notes that it will allow streaming of up to 4K, although there will not be support for streaming VR games. All Steam Link games will remain 2D as if they were being streamed to any other device.

This update improves network performance, allows streaming up to 4K resolutions, and allows you to dynamically adjust the curve of the display in panoramic mode. This client is for 2D streaming only and does not support VR content.

While the new version of Steam Link with Apple Vision Pro support isn’t yet available, there is a TestFlight beta available should gamers want to try the app out early. Be warned that this is still a beta, so there are likely to be bugs and other issues as Valve works out the kinks ahead of a public release.
