Here’s AirPods Pro 3 Vs AirPods Pro 2 battery life comparison that you may need to know about before going ahead with the purchase.
As you may already know, Apple announced AirPod Pro 3 at its “Awe Dropping.” event where the company claimed that the new AirPods Pro 3 have better battery life than AirPods Pro 2 on a single charge with each bud lasting 2 hours more on single charge in Pro 3 vs Pro 2.
But here comes a twist. The battery inside the AirPods case seems smaller than previous gen case. Apple says AirPods Pro 3 are good for 24 hours of listening when charged again and again using the battery inside the case. This is actually less when you compare it to AirPods Pro 2’s 30 hours of listening time.
This brings overall listening time down by 25% which is quite big when compared to previous gen AirPods Pro 2. So while you will get more battery from each bud on a single charge, the overall playback time with battery case seems less than before.
Also, keep in mind that if you’re using the new heart rate sensor, you still get approximately half an hour longer battery life compared to AirPods Pro 2. Additionally, if you’re utilizing the Hearing Aid Transparency mode capabilities, you can expect battery life of up to 10 hours with AirPods Pro 3.
