Google is working towards announcing the new Pixel 10 series of phones, and in a new teaser video, it has poked fun at Apple’s iOS 26 announcement.
Apple announced iOS 26 and its new Liquid Glass design language at WWDC on June 9, and Google has used this new teaser video to suggest that some of its changes are “inspired” by the Pixel.

The video follows an earlier series of videos, dubbed Best Phones Forever, that have seen an iPhone and a Pixel 9 device responding to rumors. In its latest ad, dubbed “Responding to MORE Rumors,” the two devices discuss iOS 26 while suggesting that it is a “Total coincidence” that some of the new features were on Pixel phones first.
9toGoogle reports that live translation in text messages, Hold Assist, and Call screening are some of the features that Pixel users have been enjoying for years. “I mean, what are the chances,” the ad’s iPhone ponders.
There is no doubt that Apple is playing catch-up with some of the AI-based features that Google has made the norm in recent years. The iOS 26 update will bring many of them to the iPhone for the first time when it is released to the public this fall. The new software will also be preinstalled on the iPhone 17 family of devices, too.
