Verizon Unlimited Users Get Apple Music Free For Six Months

Good news for Verizon Unlimited wireless plan subscribers; the cellular network giant is looking to offer up to 6 months of Apple Music subscription absolutely free of cost!

Verizon has partnered up with Apple for this purpose, and states that it’s just the first step in an exclusive partnership with the iPhone-maker. This first step will see the company offer free Apple Music subscription for 6 months starting August 16, and will be applicable to all new, and existing Apple Music subscribers.

While new subscribers would be automatically welcomed into the special offer, existing subscribers will be required to deactivate and consequently reactivate their subscription. That’s not bad at all, especially when you consider that fact that it’s not only a free subscription for half a year, but can be availed on the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Mac, HomePod, CarPlay, PC, and Android; all over either 4G LTE, or WiFi.

Currently at $9.99 / month, Apple Music has seen a surge in subscription, with the service having bested Spotify only just last month after having been launched a few years back.

This partnership with Verizon will only see Apple Music reach an even broader user-base, with a slight chance of users being hooked onto the service beyond just 6 months. More so, Verizon’s three-tier Unlimited wireless plans are likely to witness a sales boost as well.

As mentioned earlier, Verizon describes this as the first step to an exclusive partnership, and it will be interesting to see what unfolds in the near future as a result of this. For now though, if you’re a Verizon user, you just got yourself the opportunity to avail one of the most fantastic deals to be had for Apple Music.
