Tesla’s Cybertruck Will Be A First For The Truck World, Here’s Why

Tesla has announced more details about the Cybertruck, its first electric truck. The EV is thought to be ready to enter mass production later this year and release candidates are thought to be on track for availability at the end of next month. Now, Tesla has shared some more details bout the truck itself

As Electrek tell us, according to those details, the Cybertruck will be first sub-19 ft pickup truck with four doors and a bed that measures over six feet. Tesla’s information was shared as part of its second-quarter financial results.

As far as we know, Cybertruck will be the first sub-19 ft. truck (fitting into a garage) that has both four doors and 6+ ft. bed. Both technologically and architecturally, this vehicle will break a lot of boundaries – very much in line with how we think about vehicle engineering and manufacturing.

On top of that it’s been confirmed that production will begin later this year at Gigafactory Texas, while some models are already in the final certification and validation stages around the world.

Recent photos showed a Cybertruck being put through its paces in cold-weather testing in New Zealand, while tests have already been done elsewhere around the world.

We can expect more Cybertruck details as the year rolls on, and it does finally look like there is some light at the end of the tunnel for those who have placed preorders.
