iPhone developer iH8sn0w has pushed another update to Sn0wbreeze 2.2, apparently with a new solution to fix iBooks issue for devices on which it previously didn’t work.
As we reported earlier, both PwnageTool 4.2 for Mac and Sn0wbreeze 2.2 for Windows are now available which can preserve baseband, and jailbreak iPhone, iPad and iPod touch on iOS 4.2.1 firmware.
Screenshots of the upcoming Sn0wbreeze 2.2 for Windows has been teased yet again. In case you don’t already know, Sn0wbreeze for Windows is an alternative to PwnageTool for Mac which allows you to create custom firmware files which are jailbroken, untethered, and without the upgraded baseband.
The yet to be released Sn0wbreeze 2.2 will enable you to play Pac-Man game to keep you busy while the custom IPSW is being built for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
