Official PUBG Xbox One Wireless Controller Announced, Here Are The Details

If you are a hardcore PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds player on Microsoft’s Xbox platform, then you are going to love this latest announcement and coming-soon release. Presumably, in conjunction with PUBG, Microsoft has announced a limited edition camo-branded Xbox One Wireless Controller for those who want to feel part of the game.

A standard and normal Xbox One Wireless Controller will get the job done for you and you will definitely be able to play PUBG on Xbox One and enjoy everything that the game brings.

However, if you are definitely involved on an emotional level with the game, and you want to experience it as immersed as possible, then you definitely need to entertain this camouflage controller that’s been designed and released specifically for PUBG on Xbox One. Microsoft specifies that this controller comes with a black digital camo design, offers a trigger grip, button mapping, and has Bluetooth technology. It also comes with exclusive in-game PUBG content:

Survive the ultimate life and death fight with the Xbox Wireless Controller – PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS Limited Edition, featuring a distressed black digital camo design. Be the last one standing with the new and exclusive trigger grip to help you stay on target in the final circle. Enjoy custom button mapping and plug in any compatible headset with the 3.5mm stereo headset jack. Also includes Bluetooth® for gaming on Windows 10 PCs and tablets.

The “exclusive in-game content” hasn’t been elaborated on as yet but it does confirm that Xbox One owners will need Xbox Live Gold and the PUBG game in order to enjoy the content. In reality, this isn’t a brand new controller which offers functionality above and beyond what you would get from a standard controller but it does fit in with the look and feel of the globally popular PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds title on Xbox One.

It’s also a perfect purchase for anyone who is actually looking for a new Xbox One controller and wants to take the opportunity to get something a little different and fresh. If you can wait a while, then this is for you.

Microsoft will be making the controller available later this year on 30th October 2018 and will retail for $69.99.
