Apple has begun production testing for the iPhone 19 Pro with a new quad-curved display, according to a new leaker from Apple’s Chinese supply chain.
Leaker Digital Chat Station, posting to their Weibo social network account, claimed that Apple has begun testing the display that has been heavily rumored in recent months. It’s expected that it will curve around all four corners of the iPhone for the first time.

Supply-chain rumors suggest the iPhone at the 2027 event will feature a near‑quad‑curved display design.
The leaker also noted that the iPhone will have a hole-punch cutout in the display for its front-facing camera, but it appears that the Face ID technology will be placed beneath the display. We can surely expect that this will also apply to the iPhone 19 Pro Max, too.
Apple has long been rumored to have plans to launch a special 20th-anniversary iPhone in 2027, which may or may not be this rumored iPhone 19 Pro. We’re still over a year away from that device being unveiled, so it’s possible that Apple’s plans may change as we edge closer to the fall of that year.
Before that, Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first foldable iPhone this coming September. Rumors have claimed that the iPhone 18 will not launch until early in 2027, likely alongside the iPhone 18e.
