iPhone XR Gets Two New Promo Videos As Pre-Orders Go Live

Apple’s iPhone XR is now available for pre-order, meaning that all of the devices Apple announced during its September event are now either available to buy, or available to pre-order. The colorful iPhones will go on sale next Friday, October 26th, and following their availability for pre-order, Apple has made two new promotional videos available via its YouTube channel.

Neither of the two videos are long, but both are set up to show off the colorful nature of the iPhone XR. The first of the videos, Spectrum, predictably highlights the color options that are available while the second is a more overall look at the devices with Apple pointing to the Liquid Retina Display, Face ID, and camera system as reasons for people to consider the iPhone XR.

Both of the videos do a good job of raising awareness of the iPhone XR, although, oddly, they are the first that Apple has released specifically relating to the least costly iPhone since its introduction last month. With pricing starting at $749, it’s possible Apple has been trying to avoid cannibalizing iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max sales, especially considering the similar specifications, at least to the untrained eye.

It’s possible that the iPhone XR’s 6.1-inch display may also prove popular among those who wanted a larger iPhone but are concerned that the iPhone XS Max’s huge 6.5-inch display is simply too big to handle easily. Regardless, Apple’s iPhone XR will be with us next week, and we can’t wait to see some more colorful iPhones in the wild.
