iPad Mini Has Reportedly Gone Into Production At Foxconn, Brazil

The same report is also suggesting that previously leaked designs may be inaccurate, with their sources suggesting that the external shell of the product doesn't contain any visible aperture for a rear microphone. It is entirely possible that Apple is planning on launching two miniature iPad models that cater for all budgets and all consumers who aren't willing to spend top dollar on the likes of the 9.7-inch iPad, a Galaxy Tab 10.1 or one of the market’s other premium tablets.

The iPad Mini is proving to be something of an enigma, in that we have seen a large number of speculative reports that are centered on it, but we don't really have any solid leak that can confirm the design or the possible technical specifications which Apple will choose to bundle with the mid-range tablet device. With an Apple investor claiming that the press invites will be handed out by October 10th, it doesn't look like we will need to wait long until we see what Apple have in store for us.

The last few weeks have been extremely busy for Apple with the official public release of iOS 6 and the sixth-generation iPhone, and if today’s speculation is anything to go by then it looks like Apple is set to ramp things up to the next level. Reports are suggesting that Apple has started the initial process of manufacturing the rumored iPad Mini that we have been hearing so much about in the Federative Republic of Brazil.

After a period of down-time during the launch of the iPhone 5, the possibility of a miniature iPad has taken a back seat compared to other products, but it looks like the baby iPad is well and truly back on the radar with a number of reports coming today alone. This latest possible manufacturing news comes hot on the heels of additional speculation that Apple will be distributing event invites for the iPad Mini announcement on October 10th. Although by no means a confirmation that Apple has given Foxconn permission to begin the manufacturing process in Brazil, it is surely more than coincidence that iPad Mini related silence has been broken with two reports in one day.
