iOS 27 Beta Compatibility For iPhone, iPad, iPod touch Devices

Here’s the iOS 27 compatibility list to help you determine if your iPhone will actually be compatible for installing and running iOS 27 final version when it becomes available to the public.

Apple announced the iOS 27 update during the WWDC 2026 opening keynote on June 8, and it gave the world its first look at what the update will bring to iPhone.

There are a ton of new features and tweaks for iPhone owners to look forward to, but which iPhones will actually be able to install them is well worth taking into consideration here.

Whenever Apple announces a new software update, there is always the chance that some older devices will not be able to run it. In the case of the iOS 27 update, Apple has removed support for a handful of older iPhones that wouldn’t be able to run it as well as owners would expect.

The upshot is that the iOS 27 update will not support the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and the second-generation iPhone SE. That means that you’ll need an iPhone 12 or newer in order to install iOS 27.
