Hot Deal: Get Amazon Fire Phone For $159 With One Year Of Amazon Prime Included

Amazon is an Internet behemoth when it comes to online shopping. In fact, since its inception, Amazon has shown that it is an almost unstoppable freight train going from strength-to-strength by offering a seemingly endless list of products for extremely reasonable prices. However, where the company has succeeded with offering everything you may need on a day-to-day basis, it has often struggled when trying to break into the consumer tech world. Take the Amazon Fire Phone as a prime example. Amazon’s phone is no stranger to having a saving applied to it in an effort to get customers to take it off the shelves and now, in a similar marketing stunt, Amazon is offering the device at its cheapest price yet.

Back in February of this year Amazon was trying to push interest in the Fire Phone by slashing its price to $199 and throwing in a year of free access to Prime as part of the deal. At the time that was the lowest price the smartphone had been offered for and actually enticed quite a few budget savvy individuals to give the device a try. Considering the Fire Phone started life out at a whopping $650 for an unlocked handset, today’s offer to grab the same device for $159 seems like an absolute steal. And of course, you will also get the same one year free access to Prime that we told you about back in February.

When you actually consider that Amazon’s Prime service usually comes with an annual subscription charge of $99, you’re actually picking up a fairly capable and slightly underrated smartphone for a bargain sum of $60. Amazon is clearly in a giving mood, as the free year of Prime is also extendable to existing Prime subscribers. For those who regularly make use of Prime and everything that it offers, and who keep coming back year after year, the opportunity to grab the Fire Phone for $159 seems like an opportunity that really shouldn’t be missed.

So what exactly will you be getting for your money? The Amazon Fire Phone isn’t going to compete with the likes of the iPhone 6 or Samsung’s Galaxy S6, but it does come with a fairly decent set of specifications and some special features.
