Rumors about a foldable iPhone have been around for years, and now, it finally looks like Apple is getting close to making it a reality.
While nothing’s official yet, a bunch of new reports are giving us a clearer picture of what to expect from what many are calling the iPhone Fold.

One of the big questions was whether Apple would go with a flip-style design like the Galaxy Z Flip or a fold-style like the Galaxy Z Fold.
According to leaks, Apple is leaning toward the foldable tablet-style, meaning the device will open up like a book. When unfolded, it could be around the size of an iPad mini — pretty handy for multitasking or media.
Some new details gathered by 9to5Mac also hint at changes to the screen and how you unlock the phone. The outer display likely won’t have Apple’s usual Dynamic Island. Instead, it may feature a simple punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. And instead of Face ID, Apple might bring back Touch ID which won’t bet under the screen, but built into the power button, similar to what we’ve seen on the iPad Air.
According to a report rounded up from Weibo, the main screen could be 7.76 inches (2713 x 1920), while the outer display might measure 5.49 inches (2088 x 1422). Design-wise, it sounds very similar to existing Android foldables.
