Dusk App Brings X / Twitter To The Apple Vision Pro

If you’re the proud owner of a brand-new Apple Vision Pro and wish that you had access to an official X app, we can’t help you there.

But if you’re looking for a third-party alternative instead, the Dusk app might be the answer.

Available via the visionOS App Store right now for $3.99, the app brings the X experience to the Apple Vision Pro including support for notifications, lists, bookmarks, and more.

Dusk for Twitter brings the Twitter (now known as X) experience to the Vision Pro, offering a familiar and immersive way to browse your timeline, notifications, lists, bookmarks, and more. Featuring a beautiful translucent window, a native navigation bar, and sleek, fine-tuned visuals, Dusk provides a seamless Twitter experience in any environment.

Notably, the app also removes layout limitations otherwise enforced by X which means that powers can be made to appear in windows as large as the user wants. And while you can’t add Safari bookmarks to the visionOS Home Screen, this app puts X front and center.

The developer behind the Dusk app says that the app “is constantly improving” and has asked for users to get in touch if they have any issues, too.

X has so far made no suggestion that it intends to bring its app to the Vision Pro and given the lack of updates to the Mac version of its app, we wouldn’t suggest that anyone hold their breath while they wait. The official X app for iPad though does work on Vision Pro in compatibility mode.
