If you’re looking to download the latest iPadOS 27 RC version via either the OTA update method or by downloading IPSW files, you’re in luck. Here’s how to install Apple’s latest developer beta on your iPad.
Apple has now released the first iPadOS 27 Release Candidate as it works towards making the update available to the public.

That’s expected to happen within weeks after a months-long beta process that began after the WWDC opening keynote in June. This Release Candidate update is the closest thing to the finished product that we’ve seen to date, and you can download and install it now if you’re a registered Apple developer.
Assuming you indeed are a registered developer, installing iPadOS 27 RC is incredibly easy.
Step 1: Open the Settings app and choose General, followed by Software Update.
Step 2: Tap Beta Updates.
Step 3: Change the Apple ID that is configured if needed. It can be different from the one you’re using as your main Apple ID, so long as it’s registered on Apple’s developer program.
Step 4: Select the iPadOS 27 Developer Beta.
Step 5: Return to the Software Update screen and choose Download and Install. Enter your passcode if prompted and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
That’s all there is to it. After a restart, you’ll be running the Release Candidate version of iPadOS 27!
Alternatively, you can download the IPSW file and update manually using a PC or a Mac. Head over to developer.apple.com to grab the correct file for your device.
