Apple has today released for download the iOS 27.2 final version to the public, giving them their first look at an update that has been in the hands of developers and public beta testers for the last few weeks.
The new update arrived after Apple released the first Release Candidate version on October 19, and brings with it a number of changes, albeit none that will make the update worthwhile on their own.

The update is available for free and can be installed via the Software Update mechanism within the Settings app. While the early iOS 27.2 betas included a new Health app, that was removed in the later betas and is not present in this final release. However, Siri AI does expand to include French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish languages.
The Apple TV app now supports profiles for the first time, while a new Apple Music icon has been added as part of the streaming services visual revamp. Call Context also now supports anniversary alerts, too.
According to official release notes, here’s everything that is new:

This software update is the first to be released since Apple made the iPhone Duo available for purchase and sees the company skip iOS 27.1 for all iPhones except its foldable model.
Apple has also released new updates for the Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro to match this new iOS 27.2 release.
