Apple Releases visionOS 1.1.1 Update For The Apple Vision Pro

If you’re an Apple Vision Pro owner you now have a new software update available after Apple released visionOS 1.1.1 to the public.

The new visionOS software update is available for everyone who wants to download it via the Settings app on the Apple Vision Pro.

Users can choose the General Section before choosing Software Update to get the process started. The visionOS 1.1.1 software will then download and install, rebooting the headset to do so.

This update doesn’t bring with it any new features but is instead one that adds “important bug fixes and security updates” and as such we would recommend that everyone who owns an Apple Vision Pro install it as soon as possible. This release comes two weeks after Apple made the visionOS 1.1 software available for download and arrives alongside the release of iOS 17.3.1 for the iPhone and iPadOS 17.4.1 for the iPad.

Apple is also thought to be readying a bigger new software update to be announced at the WWDC event in June. The update, likely visionOS 2.0, will be announced alongside iOS 18, macOS 15, and other software. Initial developer beta versions are likely to be released following the announcement before the public versions are made available to the world this fall.

The Apple Vision Pro headset is available in the United States right now with prices starting from $3,499. That’s for the base 256GB model while 512GB and 1TB versions are also offered for those who need extra space.
