Apple Announces ‘Pro and Tell’ October 28 Event

Apple has today confirmed that there will be new products announced next Wednesday, October 28, with a press event to take place in Los Angeles at 10:0am PT.

The tagline for the event is “Pro and Tell,” hinting that the rumored MacBook Pro announcements could be in the offing.

This is the second event of this kind in a matter of weeks, with the “Welcome Home” event seeing Apple unveil the HomePod mini 2, HomeView, and 4th-gen Apple TV 4K. Those products were announced via a series of press releases, and it now seems likely that will also be the case this time around, too.

As for what will be unveiled, rumors have heavily pointed to new OLED MacBook Pros in 14- and 16-inch configurations, coming with touchscreen technology for the first time. There is also a suggestion that new M6 versions of the iMac and entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pros could be announced, while a revamped ipad mini with its own OLED display and new speaker system has also been suggested.

These new products will also be announced just days after the iPhone Duo officially goes on sale on October 23, after preorders began on October 16.

While Apple obviously hasn’t confirmed what the new products will be, we can surely expect more leaks as we get closer to October 28.
