Apple Pay May Be Coming To Pakistan Soon

Apple Pay may be getting ready to launch in Pakistan for the first time, according to a new report citing code found in the iOS 27 beta.

A post on X claims that Apple Pay references for PayPak have been found in the iOS 27 beta.

The code and references follow the same convention as other Apple Pay references for countries where the feature is already available to users.

This could mean that Apple will launch Apple Pay in Pakistan within the coming months. It’s unclear whether the feature will debut alongside iOS 27, or whether it could ship as part of an iOS 26 update before then.

Apple Pay support would allow people to make contactless payments using their iPhone and Apple Watch in Pakistan for the first time. Online payments on Macs, iPads, and Apple Watches will also be enabled as part of the wider Apple Pay launch in the country.

Apple is currently testing iOS 27 with developers and public beta testers. It’s set to be released to the public this September.
