WhatsApp is reportedly finally working on the ability to use two separate accounts in the same app. Currently, users can sign into one account and one account only, a limit that has long been an issue for some.
According to the beta watchers at WaBetaInfo, the latest TestFlight beta version of WhatsApp adds a new “Account List” section within its settings.

This would allow users to add a second account, perfect for those who have a personal WhatsApp account but also want to manage a business account on the same device.
Those who are part of this rollout will notice a new section called “Account List” available in the settings menu, or a dedicated button placed next to the QR code icon. This section gives users the ability to add a new account directly from the app without needing a secondary device or WhatsApp Business. At this stage, users can add and use up to two accounts on the same installation of WhatsApp.
It’s important to remember that not all features tested by WhatsApp will make their way into the version of the app we use on our iPhones, however.
That being said, this change is one that people have been asking for for years, so hopes are high that it will be finalized and ready for prime time soon.
