Apple announced visionOS 27 during its WWDC event on June 8, but didn’t really get into too many details about what it will offer. Now, a YouTube video has given us a tour of the update thanks to the release of the first developer beta of the software.
YouTuber Himels Tech has installed the first developer visionOS 27 beta on their own Apple Vision Pro and used it to create this early video of what users can expect.

One of the first things we see is a redesigned Control Center, as well as a custom Environment that was created from the YouTuber’s own panorama photo. The video also walks us through the process of creating a new Environment using such an image.
The video also shows a new Safari feature that creates a curved view of multiple windows that wraps around the user’s view. It could be a great way to do research, for example. The Freeform app also has support for this new, curved view for those who want a larger, more easy-to-use interface. However, this feature hasn’t been added to all of Apple’s apps.
Unfortunately, we don’t get to see what Siri AI has to offer in this video because of the waitlist associated with that feature. But there are a few more features shown in this video that are well worth checking out. If you’re an Apple Vision Pro owner, this video runs for just shy of five minutes and is well worth checking out for more information on what visionOS 27 will offer this fall.
