UGREEN Unveils First Qi2.2 Power Bank With 25W Wireless Charging

UGREEN’s new MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank claims to be the world’s first Qi2.2-certified charger, delivering up to 25W wireless charging ahead of the official standard launch.

The new MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank promises up to 25W wireless charging, which is faster than most current chargers that top out at 15W in the U.S.

That makes it just as fast as Apple’s updated MagSafe charger that launched with the iPhone 16 lineup last September.

The MagFlow Power Bank packs a 10,000mAh battery, a built-in USB-C charging cable that doubles as a lanyard, and a small display showing the remaining battery level. It also includes an extra USB-C port so you can juice up more than one device at a time.

While the Qi2.2 standard isn’t officially finalized yet, UGREEN is moving early. The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) is still working out the final details, so UGREEN isn’t giving a firm release date or price yet, just that it’s aiming for a Q3 2025 launch.

Qi2.2 is expected to bring:

  • Wireless charging up to 50W
  • Stronger magnets for better device alignment
  • Smarter, safer power delivery
  • Improved heat and object detection

That said, real-world charging speeds will still vary during use to protect your phone’s battery and avoid overheating.

If the final Qi2.2 standard holds up to its promise, UGREEN’s early entry could make this one of the fastest wireless chargers you can toss in your bag. Let’s see if others follow suit.
