Toca Nature For iOS Is Apple’s Free App Of This Week [$2.99 Value]

Apple’s free App Store App of the Week has just popped up, with Toca Boca’s game Toca Nature getting the nod this time around.

Normally costing $2.99 and available for both iPhone and iPad, the game won the App Store Best of 2014 last year and is currently in possession of quite a collection of excellent App Store reviews and ratings – something that isn’t easy to achieve these days.

Allowing gamers to plant trees and plants and then watch them take shape over time, the Toca Nature game also allows gamers to take part in challenges and features a charming 3D cartoon-like aesthetic that will prove popular amongst both adults and children alike.

Just read the game’s App Store description and tell us it doesn’t sound great!

Shape nature and watch it develop. Plant trees and grow a forest. Raise a mountain and enjoy the view. Collect berries, mushrooms or nuts, and feed the different animals. Learn who eats what and discover how much it takes to winkle a bear out. Walk through different landscapes and become friends with a fox. Capture the moment of woodpeckers zigzagging between trees, and watch the day turn into night.

Apple selects a new app or game to offer as it’s App of the Week every week and makes it free for everyone to download in the process. Some truly excellent titles have been offered at times, and even if you don’t think you will play it immemdiately we suggest you download Toca Nature as soon as possilble before the price goes back up to the usual $2.99. We’re told it’s a bargain even at that price though, so don’t feel too bad if you happened to buy it yesterday!
