Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17 at an event in September, and now a new leak has given us our best look yet at what we should expect them to look like.
A new post on the X social network by leaker Sonny Dickson shows a collection of four iPhone 17 dummy units, including what appears to be the rumored new gold color.

We’ve been seeing leaks surrounding the new iPhone colors in recent weeks, but this is the closest thing yet to an official announcement. Dickson has a strong record when it comes to sharing dummy units ahead of a final release. However, it’s still important to remember that nothing is official until Apple announces it.
The photo shared by Dickson shows iPhone 17 dummy units in black, white, navy blue, and orange. And if accurate, it seems that we can expect a gorgeous blue and a vibrant orange when these phones are unveiled.
Both of the new colors are stronger than we’ve seen Apple choose to go with in the recent years, suggesting a change of approach for Apple. It also suggests that we might be in for something similar when the iPhone 17 Pro devices are released, too.
If everything goes the way that we expect it to, Apple will announce the new iPhones at an online event in the first or second week of September.
