This App Provides Amazing Security To Your Android Device In Case Of Loss

phones

The app is developed by an XDA-Developers forum member of the same name, it would appear that he's put together a rather compelling little package.

Currently free, and free for life if you get in fairly quickly, this app has a whole host of features that will help you find your phone if it goes missing, and also retrieve information from it should all hope of getting it back be gone completely.

Feature wise, you can obviously track your phone using GPS. You can also use the phone's cameras to take photos as well as video, and you can take screenshots too. Users can retrieve WhatsApp messages, SMS messages and photos, too. If it's on your phone and of importance to you, the chances are you can get it back using this nifty app.

The app itself is backed up by a website that acts as your portal into your phone. This is where you will go to retrieve all your information or in the worst case scenario, wipe both the internal memory and that of any attached SD card. Awesome.

We've not tried it out ourselves just yet, so we'd love to hear from you if you have. It's certainly promising enough to give a whirl, even if you've already got a similar system in place for your Android smartphone. At the bargain price of free, we really don't see anything too negative just yet, but again, we've not tried this app yet either.

If you try it, however, be sure to let us know how you get in via the usual channels.

In a world where we all live our lives on our smartphones, one of the scariest and personally affecting things that can happen to us is the loss of that smartphone. It might not sound like the end of the world on the surface, but if all your personal data, photos of your children and documents for work are saved on a smartphone that’s gone missing, you’ll no doubt feel its loss.

If you’re the owner of an Android phone, there is no shortage of security apps that promise to help either retrieve your phone, or make it more secure in the event that it falls into the wrong hands. Everyone had their favorites, and we are no different. A new entry into the arena that has very much caught our attention though, and it goes by the name of TheftSpy.
