Owners of the DJI Neo 2 drone can now use their Apple Watch as a remote control, while the original Neo drone will also get the same Apple Watch compatibility soon.
The new DJI Neo 2 firmware, v01.00.0500, adds the option to fully remote control the drone from the Apple Watch, DroneDJ reports.

You’ll need an Apple Watch Series 8 or newer, or an Apple Watch Ultra 2 or newer running watchOS 11 or later. You’ll also need the latest version of the DJI Fly app installed. At the time of writing, that’s version 1.19.4.
Drone owners can look forward to support for live video streaming right to their wrist, we’re told. And while the live view will pause when the Apple Watch is in wrist-down mode, it should automatically resume once the watch is tapped or the wrist is raised to wake the screen.
The feature also means that drone owners can lock their iPhone or use another app while using the Apple Watch as a remote control. Voice control is also supported, we’re told.
The latest Neo 2 update also adds support for notifications when tracking loses the subject or the drone’s battery is low, while “several bug fixes” have also been applied in an attempt to boost stability.
