If you’re a fan of emulated games, you’re in luck. As of today, it’s been confirmed that the developer of the Delta Game Boy emulator has been working on an app that will emulate the Game Boy Camera.
The news was announced by the AltStore BlueSky account alongside the news that the app will support manual exposure and zoom, among other things.

The app is expected to ship later this year and but it’s already available to Patreon members.
Dubbed Delta Camera, the new tool is “A stand-alone app dedicated to taking Game Boy Camera photos with features you’d expect from a modern camera app.” The app will include support for Camera Control as well as the iPhone’s front and rear cameras.
The original Game Boy Camera was released as an add-on for the Game Boy and was released in 1998. It captures grayscale images only, so there is no color support, but it does allow for the image to be edited. Drawing features are also part of the add-on’s collection of features.
