Tesla has announced that it has begun rolling out its 2025 holiday software update including a raft of new features and upgrades.
Unfortunately, not all of those features are actually all that useful. One example is the new Tesla Photobooth feature that lets drivers take selfies using their vehicle’s built-in camera. Filters, stickers, and emojis can also be added after the fact.

More useful is new Grok upgrades that allow it to add and edit navigation destinations. Pet lovers will also enjoy a new Dog Mode Live Activity for the iPhone, allowing them to see what their pet is doing while in their EV.
Tesla has also announced a new Dashcam viewer update that includes information like the current speed and more, while Tesla’s Santa Mode now adds a snowman, trees, and more.
Continuing the list of questionable features, a new light Light Show has been added called Jingle Rush, while custom wraps and license plates can be added to the EV’s on-screen avatar.
Other additions include updates to the Navigation feature that allow the reordering of locations as well as a new 3D view of select Tesla Superchargers.
