Tesla Now Offering “Luxe Package” For Model S And Model X

Tesla has increased the price of its Model S and Model X vehicles in the United States by a whopping $10,000. The price hike has taken place across all trims.

However, it is important to note that both the Model S and Model X have been improved in terms of included extras in the process. Tesla is now bundling the new Luxe Package with purchases.

The new prices for Tesla’s most premium models now start at almost $95,000.

  • Model S AWD: $94,990
  • Model S Plaid: $109,990
  • Model X AWD: $99,990
  • Model X Plaid: $114,990

Tesla has now chosen to add the Full Self-Driving package, free lifetime Supercharging, free lifetime Premium Connectivity, and four years of the company’s Premium Service Plan on all new purchases of these models.

The add-ons are worth around $15,000, so the overall package is a better value despite the price hike.

While that may be accurate, the starting price will still be a disappointment for people who might not have chosen to add those extras anyway. However, even before the price increase, neither of Tesla’s premium EVs was cheap, so it’s unlikely that the price increase will put too many potential buyers off.

If you’re looking to pick one of these models up, you need to be quick. Time is running out to save via the federal EV tax credit to the tune of $7,500. The window for that credit expires on September 30, 2025.
