Samsung Mocks Apple’s Problematic iPad Pro Ad – ‘Creativity Cannot Be Crushed’

When Apple announced the new M4 iPad Pro it did so with a new ad that shows a number of things being crushed by a huge press.

There were art supplies, musical instruments, and all other manner of creative things, and the ad was supposed to show that the iPad Pro could do all of the things that these items could, but in one single device.

Instead, it came across as Apple destroying creativity and the company later apologized. Now, Samsung has gotten involved.

As the company has done in the past, Samsung has sought to jump on Apple controversy by releasing a new ad of its own. In that ad, we see one of Samsung’s tablets being used to help someone play music on an old and tattered guitar. We’re told that “creativity cannot be crushed” and that’s the whole ad in a nutshell. Samsung posted its new ad to social media using the #UnCrush tag.

There’s no denying that Apple created the opportunity for Samsung to poke fun at it here and there’s no surprise that Samsung took the bait, as well it should. Some people were very much upset about Apple’s iPad Pro ad and it’s clear that it was ill-judged.

As for the iPad Pro itself, that was made available for sale yesterday alongside the new M2 iPad Air, new Apple Pencil Pro, and the iPad Pro Magic Keyboard.
