Nike+ Kinect Training Demo Now Available To Download On Xbox LIVE

If you are the type of person who aspires to be a finely toned elite athlete and have an Xbox 360 with Kinect, then the fact that the Nike+ Kinect Training demo is now available to download via Xbox LIVE might interest you. The demo obviously doesn’t provide downloaders the full functioning Nike+ Kinect Training experience, but it does provide an insight into what users can expect after purchasing the full title.

The demo version has been made available today and comes in at a 1.55GB download onto the console and can be downloaded directly to the device from Xbox LIVE. Although there are already plenty of titles out there that promote health and fitness through the use of the Kinect motion sensing hardware, the Nike+ brand is one that is trusted around the world and is sure to provide a thorough and beneficial experience to users.

The title itself offers a personalized training experience from the comfort of your own home, provided of course, you have a minimum of 8ft of playing space available to ensure safety of yourself and the furniture around you. Nike Sport Science and the Kinect hardware are used together to create a dynamic workout that is based entirely on the user’s body type, performance levels and the goals that they want to achieve rather than offering a one-size-fits-all experience. The game provides feedback and motivational coaching from a virtual trainer that is there every step of the way.

In addition to the personalized coaching; the Nike+ Kinect Training package affords the user proof of progress every four weeks that assesses strength, endurance and overall aerobic and anaerobic fitness that can be plotted to show an increase in performance levels. The collected data and information can be used to compare the current user’s statistics against family members, celebrities or the wider Nike+ community that are using the same service.

One of the great things about the title and the Nike+ service on the whole is that uses can always be connected to not only the Xbox community but also the Nike+ community, thanks to a range of social features that are integrated across all of the Nike+ devices. Head on over to the demo download page and check out the Nike+ Kinect Training demo out yourself.
