A new leak has all but confirmed that new versions of three existing Apple products will be released soon. The leaks come after images of a new iPad mini, HomePod mini, and Apple TV 4K were found ahead of a likely October release window.
The images were shared by MacRumors and appear to depict unreleased versions of the devices. Rumors of a new iPad mini and upgraded Apple TV 4K have been rife for some time, and Apple has previously launched new HomePod mini colors.
Starting with the iPad mini, details include a new A20 Pro chip as well as a landscape front camera and a refreshed speaker design. The HomePod mini image shows that Apple’s smallest smart speaker will get new green and pink colors, but details as to what internals will be used are unclear at the moment.
The Apple TV 4K shown in the leaked image appears to be aesthetically identical to the current model. However, previous rumors have told us to expect that it will get its own CPU bump, possibly to an A20 Pro, as well as doubling its RAM from 4GB to 8GB. Those two changes will allow Apple to bring Siri AI to the Apple TV 4K for the first time, while a newly revised Siri Remote is also thought to be part of the new package.
While Apple is yet to confirm any of the new products, it’s expected that they will launch in October, possibly alongside the upcoming iPhone Duo.
