Fans of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 can look forward to a new expansion pack that will add a whole new experience. And it’ll include some dinosaurs.
Orbx Studios has announced the Jurassic World: Archipelago expansion pack in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences. The pack includes a fully recreated Jurassic World just off the coast of Costa Rica.

Set just before the events of the 2015 Jurassic World film from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, the islands are captured at a moment when the park is operational but not everything is under control,” Orbx Studios said via its website. “Isla Nublar hums with activity: monorails weave through the jungle, the Innovation Center stands tall, and the island is ready for guests.”
Pilots will be able to fly between islands and land at Jurassic Park’s most iconic locations — and even take on challenges while they’re there.
Featured islands and mainland locations include Isla Nublar, Isla Sorna, Isla Matanceros, Isla Muerta, Isla Pena, Isla Tacano, Herradura Bay Marina, and Juan Santamaría International Airport (MROC).
As for the dinosaurs that gamers can look forward to, we’re told that Velociraptors and Pteranodon are just a couple of those present. There’s even going to be a T-Rex to keep an eye out for.
The Jurassic Park expansion pack will be available for both Xbox and PC when it ships either at the end of August or the beginning of September.
