Jailbreak iOS 26.4: Here’s What We Know

If you’re looking to jailbreak iOS 26.4 on your iPhone, there are a few things that you need to know.

The new iOS 26.4 update has been released with a number of new features and improvements. That means that you’ll need to update to the new version to see what the new features are all about.

But if you’re a jailbreaker, that often means you have a decision to make. But things are a little simpler these days, largely because jailbreaking isn’t as popular as it once was.

Unfortunately, there is currently no jailbreak available for any iPhone model on any version of iOS 26. That includes the latest iOS 26.4 update that is now available for download, and is likely to include more updates after its release. In fact, the last known jailbreak released for what at the time was the latest version of iOS came way back in 2019. That jailbreak was the famous checkra1n, which was released for iOS 12-running devices.

Thankfully, jailbreaking isn’t the necessity it once was, so this isn’t as much of a problem as it might have been a few years ago. Apple has added the most common jailbreak tweaks as features. Multitasking, notifications, and more were all popular jailbreak tweaks long before they were built into the iPhone. But now that they are, jailbreaking isn’t as popular as it once was.

It is, of course, possible that a new jailbreak will be released in the future, but there has been little indication that’s on the way. We will let you know if that changes in the future, though.
