Apple is expected to announce its first foldable iPhone this September, and a new report claims to detail how much we can expect it to cost.
The iPhone, set to be called either iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra according to recent reports, might not go on sale until a few weeks after it is announced.

But that should give buyers some much-needed time to save up, with a new report claiming the device will start at $1,999.
That’s according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman who, in a new Bloomberg report, claims that the foldable iPhone will “cross the $2,000 threshold” when it finally goes on sale in the United States.
That would make the foldable iPhone the most costly in Apple’s iPhone lineup, something that will be of no surprise to anyone who has followed the price of other similar foldable devices. And while the starting price could be $1,999, those looking to upgrade to more storage can expect to spend considerably more for the privilege.

The foldable iPhone is expected to have an internal display that measures around 7.7 inches when fully opened, while a 5.3-inch display is expected on the outside. Support for Touch ID rather than Face ID and a new, crease-free design are also expected to be present.
