Apple’s new launched iPhone Duo is now jailbreak ready on the first day of release.
Apple’s iPhone Duo, its first foldable iPhone, went on sale today after proving popular during the preorder process. But while it’s only been in the hands of users for a few hours, the flagship device has already been jailbroken.

The hacked iPhone Duo was shown off on the X social network by security outfit Calif.io, with a video showing the Home Screen icons moving around when the device is picked up and tilted.
It’s a simple demonstration, but it shows that the iPhone Duo has been jailbroken, potentially opening the door to a public release in the future.
The jailbroken iPhone Duo comes courtesy of the same people who showed off a jailbroken iPhone 18 Pro recently. The untethered iOS 27.0.1 jailbreak was debuted at the Hexacon event in Paris. At the time, the jailbreak was notable because it works on Apple’s latest iPhone, runs on its latest software, and the root access it grants remains available even after the iPhone has been restarted.
It’s unclear whether the same jailbreak was used for this iPhone Duo demonstration, but it seems likely. The iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro Max use the same A20 Pro chip, after all.
